Hi, bondia! My name is Brenda Kok and I’m the creator of Go Visit Bonaire. I crafted this website to be your personal guide to the beautiful island of Bonaire.
During my studies Communications & Management, the internet became available to the public (yes, long long time ago). I was immediately fascinated by digital communications. I lóve finding ways to use digital tools and marketing to make businesses and people’s lives easier and more fun.
What I didn’t know back then is that my online skills would allow me to live and work anywhere in the world. I grew up in a small village in the Netherlands near a lake. And although it is still one of my favorite places on earth, I have I’ve lived in many different corners of the world by now. Since 2021, Bonaire has been my home base – and I absolutely love it here!
Living on an island with so many amazing experiences is awesome. I go diving, windsurfing, and mountain biking regularly. But, even after being here for a while, I’m still discovering new exciting things to do and places to explore on the island.
